We are starting to see cooler temps here in the Bitterroot and the fish are responding well. Hoppers and terrestrials have been fishing well thrown close to the banks. Floating can be narrow right now with the lack of water but there's still some good stretches on the upper river. Those walking have had some great luck with the opportunity to reach more holes by foot that would typically be difficult with higher flows. Consider throwing a hopper dropper for best opportunity, Perdigons have been a great option to trail under. There have also been some great spinner and moth opportunities on the upper stretch.
The current flows for the lower river are 230 CFS, upper river is 390 CFS, and the West Fork is 265 CFS.
