Here is your fishing report for March 1st, 2024. A slow start to the season so far. The water temps are staying cool and the fish are hanging in the slow deep runs. Fish a deep nymph rig consisting of a stonefly nymph with either a small midge or perdigon hanging off the back end. Some midge fishing on the warm afternoons if you're persistent. the fish will be in slow tail outs and back eddies sipping midges. Of course if you want to throw a sparkle minnow, sex dungeon or kreelex just strip it slow and keep it in front of their face as long as possible, ya never know, ya might turn a bruiser!
