October 17th Fishing Report

The clouds are rolling in and colder weather is staying consistent in the Bitterroot. Streamers are a great option during this time, try using a Lil' Kim or a sparkle minnow. We are seeing good dry fly action as well, come prepared with October caddis, BWO, and Mahogony patterns. Nymphing is a solid option as well, we've seen good success with Perdigons, Frenchie's, and TJ Hookers.

The current flows are 296 CFS for the lower river, 165 CFS for the upper river, and 62 CFS at the West Fork.
